The Military CYPRES Calculator app is the electronic equivalentofthe Military CYPRES circular calculator ("whiz wheel"). Intheevent you do not want to carry or do not have access tothecircular calculator, the MCC app in your smart phone or tabletwillperform the task of calculating the pressure at the target DZforuse with the Military CYPRES in Operational Mode.The function is straight forward, similar to the usage ofthecircular calculator:Input the actual DZ "altimeter setting" (either in inHg ormBar,unit is determined automatically by the app), and theelevation ofyour intended Drop Zone (or Virtual Drop Zone if youneed analternate activation altitude).The CALCULATE button uses these two values to determinetheproper Military CYPRES setting.
